this is a fresh new discussion never discussed before! <p>lemme see: <p>1. Phantasy Star II original<br>This is awesome with the 2 red goddesses on the sides and the Algo planets and stuff. Very legendary. <br>perhaps the goddesses represent creation and destruction. and Mother Brain looks to be a combination of both (hench the 4 arms and longer hair, with shifting colors.) <p>2. Phantasy Star II remake <br>(I dunno but I find it beautiful and so really awesomely designed to fit all the main characters and still look perfect! Great Phantasy Star lettering, very cool cyber surroundings. And the most shocking bit of all is that the artists that drew PSO made this art!!! Much improved from their PSO works.) <p>3. Phantasy Star III original <p>(very beautiful. The logo is different from the rest but there is a reason behind that cause the story was supposed to make you think it's a separate game but it's in fact strongly related to the world ships that escaped Palm.) well this is really a appearance comparison and not about music. but the music in the title screen is flawless and the best out of them all, really. <p>4. Phantasy Star 1 original <br>(I dunno but I find cute Alis and the sparkling stars to be very awesome. One of the few RPGs with a female lead. It really looks pretty despite its age.) <p>5. I vote for a tie between PS2 (original) and PSO. In PS2 I liked the insinuation of motherbrain with Palma in her hand. And PSO because, well.... it was PS' return, and in 128 bits, somewhat of like seeing an old friend you haven't seen in forever, even the titlescreen's music gave me that feeling of greetings, wouldn't be able to describe it.... again, something only a design team of women could be able to pull off.

I like the PS4 title screen the most. The whole opening sequence is catching.<p>PS1 and 2 aren´t very different, concept wise, but I like them.<p>I personally disliked the fact that PS3 didn´t use the original text characters from the previous games, but the music and how it fits in the intro sequence saved it all.

PSIV had the best one. Aside from the most graphical, it had the best music.

PS4's was the best.

I agree with ROMeo, but the DC PSO title is far better than the crappy GC one.

PS2 was the best. I'm just upset that PS3 didn't use the same font, if you could call it that.

PSIII's font is beautiful. it's kinda crystal-like. <br>

The GC version of PSO is crappier than the DC one?<p>What reasoning do you say for this?<p>Sure, the ultimate difficulty is dumbed down on the GC, But Episode 2 makes up for it.<p>GC PSO has more features than the DC and somewhat improved graphics for Episode 2.<p>All DC PSO had was Forest, Caves, Mines, Ruins..<p>How is DC PSo superior?

I prefer PSII because of the subtle music and as ROMeo said, the insinuation that Mother Brain has Algol in her hands. Very beautiful.

The. Thread.<br>It's about TITLE SCREENS.<br>And I agree with him.

In this case, I took TITLE to mean the actual game.<p>So therefore it was my mistake. <p>At least I can admit that.
