I appreciate the effort being put into the fan translation. They've added dialogue that was omitted from the English release of the game.

Phantasy Star III is the first turn-based jrpg I have ever played and got into. Even if it has gameplay flaws, it's nice to go back to your old haunts.

Thanks for sharing. I actually have a deep appreciation for PSIII even though I enjoy the Algol setting more. There was something fun about the characterization and the generations technique was fantastic. Right now my gaming is primarily limited to playing through old classics like Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger with my daughter. When she's a bit older I'll introduce her to Phantasy Star and give the new translation a try (it certainly helped Secret of Mana!).
