Ok, so there has been alot of talk about hacking and duping and such. If anybody here has ever played diablo 1 or 2 you may know about the scanner which was a downloaded thing of some sort, never understood it, but it was used see if other characters items or stats were hacked. I finally made some money so i may start online, but i want to know if a "scanner" exists in PSO. Just a curious question.

Was the scanner in Diablo a thing that Blizzard (I think thats the company) sanctioned, or was it a third-party/fan made program? I don't think there is one in PSO, but I could be wrong...it would be nice to know who hacks/cheats/dupes though.

ya, it was third party im sure. if it was made by blizzard then it wudda been used more. wut i mean there is that wen a duplicate and the original of that dupe were on the ground in the same game, the duplicate wud be destroyed. if this scanner was made by blizzard then any duped or hacked items/stats wud be destroyed, or in the stats case, reset. so logically, id think it was third party, it cudda been blizzard though, ya never know
