How do you get Kireek's Soul Eater? And how do you get the so-called Soul Banisher I've heard about? Is there such?

Soul Eater is done with Episode 1's offline quests, you must do the following in order:<p>1) Dr. Osto's Research (DON't tell Sue your name or it won't work)<br>2) Unsealed Door (make sure of talking with Sue or it won't work)<br>3) Waterfall Tears (talk to sue before going down, after you defeat Anna in Caves 2 look for the green dot in the map, that's Kireek, fight him)<br>4) Black Paper (look for Kireek on your area map in Caves 1 and fight him)<br>5) From the depths (after Ash and you part ways go back to Ruins 2 and find Kireek)<p>...then Soul Eater is yours, I'm not sure how to get Soul Banish but I've heard it's not cost-effective.

Haha..Soul Banish is very good! *cough*strongest partisan*cough*. Though very very hard to find.

I've got an FAQ on offline sidequest weapons which I'll send to Missagh soon.<p>I think that the Soul Banish is dropped like a normal rare weapon, but with odds like 1/150000. Off a rare enemy. Or something.

Nah..its no where near that rare. Its just that its found off of some pretty mean enemies. Like the Delbiter.

The rumor I heard is that you kill a delsaber with the souleater in order to get it. Thanks for the help anyway. Is there any way you can get weapons from other characters?

No one I know has a Soul Eater. I wonder..I could try it when I get it, but that would be a little long..

I have one. It is not very strong, it is weaker than a Gae Bolg.

soul eaters are great, i recommend just about each class try to work to get one from character creation. you should try to get one by around normal mines. just follow the quests in order, don't miss talking to who you need, and be sure to fight kireek each time (check the map, move it around, to see if he's there).<p>in the higher lvls it isn't very powerful, but that's expected. but in the beginning stages it is a great weapon. nothing like a partisan for FOrces or RAngers. forces, if you used judiciously and with good amt of hp units, is wonderful with the resta tech. smack hard, recover. just don't try to 3 hit combo special hit a clump of enemies, that'd be stupid (but funny!). and with RAcaseal it's great, she can evade like no one's business and has high hp. and RAcasts are fun because they just finish things off so fast.<p>HUnters might not need it as much, but if you get it real early it should be your most powerful partisan for quite a while.<p>overall, if you get it by around... lvl 10~15ish you have a great weapon to last you for around 50+ levels until it gets replaced by something better in v.hard or ultimate.

I see. Do you know how to get a Soul Banisher, then? And the rumors are true: Soul EAter does drain your health?

I heard the Soul Banisher drains it much more quickly.

The soul eater takes away 1 hp every 20 steps you take......of maybe 30 i forget, and i don't think that rumors true i've killed many a delisabers with my soul eater and no sould banish for me :/ but i know you can find it in ultimate with certain id's if that helps
