Online play query

I've got my characters spread over two different memory cards, as my friends have characters on there as well, and it just occured to me; If I play online will I only be able to enable one memory card's worth of characters for online play since there is one Hunter's Guild card file on each memory card? I'm basing this on the fact that there's only one serial number with each game, and doesn't the serial number get linked with the Hunter's Guild card file?

The Guild Cards file is just that - a file containing Guild Cards. It's not linked to any character or serial number.<p>Things have changed since the Dreamcast. Since GameCube, you can play with any character on any GameCube, and also go online anywhere. The only restriction left is that once you make a character on your memory card, it is stuck on that card forever.

Cool. Yeah, the Dreamcast way of doing things was just plain annoying...Only one character to a memory card! %)
