Phantasy Star Cave Message Board

Has this idea been brought up already before? If not, how does everybody feel about starting one? Just give your opinions, there isn't anything special yet.

No. Never in a thousand years, unless it was from PS Cave exclusively. Even though I don't play online, the mentality of a clan is not my style. Even when I do get online, I'm likely to go solo just to play quests and get Rare Items. Unless, of course, someone offers to play with me...but I find that it's more trouble than it's worth deciding who gets the Rare Items...especially with no verbal communication.

The word "clan" has always been in a negative light with me. All the clan members I saw on Dreamcast were cheaters, people who PKed you and took your weapon and froze you and other stuff.<br>I did join Intrinity, which is a site that unites legit clans, but I left because of one annoying member, and because I didn't like the general atmosphere; almost all of the regulars were moderators or admins. That and their behavior...<p>So, in short, "clan = cheaters" in my mind.

PSO Blue Burst will offer some kind of clan-system(team-system). I'm afraid it'll fail eventually though (@)

While I tend to agree with Benoit, and I do find that the word "clan" is synanamous with "cheaters", even if I don't play online, a PS-Cave exclusive clan would be kind of fun.<p>None of us cheat, as far as I know, and we're all familiar with eachother. Chances are we'll get along, fine.<p>Yes, if it's just us from PS Cave, no outsiders.<br>No if we're letting anyone else outside of PS Cave join.

I can't play on-line but it seems as if that's no problem? Maybe reporting each day in the 'Your Rare Finds' topic is good enough? <p>And YEP I'm 100 % Legit!! #)

I fear a clan is the only way to stay legit...today I met a "legit" , he defined himself this way, with a TJS. He said you can remove the seal from the SJS with the "PSO advance" for the GameBoy...if he talked about the PScollection on GBA I have no idea.

LoL, that's the newest theory I heard. Last time I checked it was just killing 23,000 enemies with it equiped haha :p<br>

That would be cool...but I propose that we all upon rules of conduct. If <b>any</b> of you are item hogs, I will not play with you. That is, when I get online.

We'll call it a Guild! <p>It'll be PS Caves own guild of Hunters. That would be cool. Now all's I have to do is get online...<p>No item hogs, though I doubt any of you are... we'll have to set up a system that determines who gets the rares.

Okay, a PScave group it is, as long as Missagh will allow it.<p>In the mean time, lets think of some names. I'm gonna try to get Online tomorrow. I'll be more than glad to set things up. (Times and such)

And now I can watch how you guys keep on talking about this cool new online group while I'm left behind :p

Butoden, you're not left behind, as I'm not online yet either. I just thought that there should be a place for me when I do get online...and I'd like to have an active role in the forming of this group.<p>How about Alis Guild? Or PS Cave Guild? Uh....
