That Japanese get more rares is such a long misconception. At least in GameCube PSO.<p>A beat is a term used with a different time concept. Instead of 24 hours, a day is divided in 1000 beats. It's used in PSO. You can see it on the lower right of the screen when in your menus.

Though with Rare items:<p>A theory was brought up that you could find weapons at a certain beat time easily. The problem is that many people don't believe it, and many do. Its very contradictory, its been said that weapon findings can't be found based on time, but proof of finds has also been given.<p>Anyway, please start another thread about beat times if you wish to discuss it.

Erm... but you brought it up. %) <p>It's just coincidence, and because people play their games mostly at set times. Of course you're going to find more stuff at certain times then.

I've begun searching for deleted (due to memory card corruption) or items that disappeared and I didn't know where they went. <p>A list of ones I'm searching for:<p>Custom Frame V.00 - I had found two of these, one I traded, the other dissapeared.<br>Secret Gear - Victum of corruption.<br>Twin Brand - Victum of corruption.<p>So:<p>SoF run with Neo (Very Hard). Three Runs:<p>-Photon Drop<br>-Club of Laconium<p>Thats all so far. Also did the Mines on Hard, found nothing though.<p>That is my 126 photon drop that I have ever found. They sure add up. To bad I wasted a bunch on the stone.
