Not that I've actually got any, but I don't really like the look of the Red weapons.
Sure, they are powerful, but I prefer the other rares.
And I don't like the saber attack style compared to twin sabers or double sabers.

The RED weapons were originally made for PSO for DC Ver 2 to help you survive the Ultimate difficulty.
Without the Red Weapons, you could barely pass the Forest area.
Level 30 techs were made to help forces survive those areas too.
You needed a Red weapon with huge percents to even get far.
On the DC.. I remember my Hunewearl equipped her Red handgun and had 1500 atp. She couldn't damage the Sil Dragon. It took her casting shifta to get to 1650 atp and then Zaluring the SIl Dragon to even hurt it!
All I had was GRANTS to use. Grants was the only way to pass the sil Dragon at less than 100.
Red Weapons were made for Ultimate, and only with them or level 30 techs could you pass it.
Benoit can back me up.

On the DC..
Hunewearls and Humars could use ALL TECHS. Even Grants and Megid.

I am using the GC version plus...
Finding rifles or guns is easy.
Too easy, I guess It depends on your ID.
I don't like using TECHS that are anything but resta, resta I always use.
The other TECHS are for Normal mode when helping my partner in the battle of bosses.
De Rol Le...
I only use Techs on bosses and/or large groups of enemies, I found a pallasatch just today again.
My partner sold a RED HANDGUN!!!
He said it was weak, He thought it was just any regular handgun...
I thought so too...
But then he sold it At first I didn't know and It was on Normal Mode (I know because he is not on hard yet)
The RED HANDGUN was rico's handgun. The red handgun can grind really really high!
Any Red weapon I think is rico's (not included red looking sabers, etc.)
Was DC vers. easy for you?
I hink gamecube is easy because you don'thave to click the mouse to move.
Just use a control stick, It is easier than anyone thinks it is (depends on what your thinking).
I have never found a red weapon!!!
But he found one maybe I should tell him...
Also, do not forget do you think the DC vers. and the GC vers. are the same? What platform is the DC vers. on?
This was my very first long post... this took about 30 minutes.
I think the red weapons can grind up to 250!

[Edit by Mage1 on [TIME]1109826381[/TIME]]

PSo was originally for the Dreamcast or DC.
There was PSO and then PSO version 2.
Most of us Veteran PSO players started on the dreamcast.
Red weapons were easily found on Version 2 with the ultimate difficulty.

I am a strange class of PSO fan..who knew nothing about the PS series until I tried the GC version of PSO. (Was not aware of DC version at that time). I always have wanted tot ry this super tough Ultimate mode.

I didn't use my Red weapons all that much on Dreamcast, but passing Forest wasn't that hard with my Ancient Saber. Took a while, though.
Ultimate was hard as hell after that.

Neo:

wanted tot ry this

to try
--------------------
My story would be similar to yours Neo, but I knew of the DC version. I wanted to get a DC just for that, but I got a GC instead and got Ep1&2.
Bloody DC off the production line. Bah!
