YAY! Another hockey fan!...I am going to a game tomorrow...7:05 EDT (thats like 3:05 PDT, right?) <br>The Springfield Falcons @ theHartford Wolf Pack. AHL hockey is a better game than NHL hockey ever was...and there are always three fights...I went to one of their games, and in the span of 2:25 game time, there were 6 fights. No. The WHL is a seperate league. The AHL is the minor-league of the NHL, though there are some different rules. NHL teams indirectly own AHL clubs...each NHL team has a contract with an AHL club (sometimes splitting teams) so that the AHL club has that NHL club as it's "parent". The parent NHL club can take players from the AHL team to use on its' team, or send down players either for rehab, or for practice. Rookies often start in the AHL before going to the NHL.

Alright. I don't watch a lot of movies, so my favorite television shows are the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Trailer Park Boys and South Park. My favorite authors are Hunter S. Thompson, Mel Hurtig, Stephen Erikson and Terry Goodkind. I can listen to most any music except rap and copuntry, and among my favorites are Iron Maiden, Symphony X, Rush, Matthew Good, the Foo Fighters and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I'm interested in politics, classic literature and Karate.

Rochester? HA! If you can put two past Valliquette or LaBarbera, then you have done just about what everyone else has. Do the Americans have the best goalies in the league? No way. Our netminders are 1 and 2 in GAA, and 2 and 3 in SV%. We also score 3.5 goals/game on average. With a team GAA of 2, that equates to us winning most of our games. See you at the Calder Cup Finals, then.
