Uh... I played and beat Metroid II... it didn't have anything that Fusion didn't. I don't know what you're talking about.<br>Like I said, the suit's design <b>will</b> grow on you. And at first, it's a fact that you are weaker with the new suit, but by the end Samus is a great deal stronger... especially after absorbing...<br>[SPOILER]<p>The SA-X's powers, and by extension, all the power of the former suit.<p>[/SPOILER]<p>If you don't want to play Fusion for foolish reasons, then fine... go ahead. You're the one who's missing out because of stupid conclusions drawn without playing much of the game. Play it... you won't regret it.

I know I probably will end up playing it at some point, but right now I don't care for it. I just find it annoying. As for the suit design growing on me, people have said that about alot of things, and most of the time its wrong. Like Veautiful Joe for example, people said that game style would grow on you, I played the game and hated every minute. There are better reason as to why I don't want to play it, but I either don't remember (it was a long time ago I played it) or just had them in my head subcontiously :p.<p>Khyron, I've said repeatedly that she is hired by the Federation, but doesn't work (physically, as in with a team or whatever) with them.<p>We've gotten way off topic here, maybe we should try and get back on topic.<p>About one of those point:<br><blockquote> * Samus's reflection visible in reflective surfaces.</blockquote><p>In the NA version you can occasionally see Samus' reflection, so which serfaces is this talking about?

Samus works personally with the Federation in a couple occasions, Tekno.<p>Anyway, I think that the added reflection feature means that you see Samus' reflection consistantly. The operative word here, being "consistantly"... not "occasionally".

Well the constant relfeeciton would probably get annoying, unless its really subtle, so I'd probably find it annoying anyway.<p>When did she work physically with the Federation? Besides Fusion I guess. I don't know the whole Metroid storyline, but I do know thats she was raised by the Chozo, they sent her to eliminate the Space Pirates (in the original Metoid I believe). Then, in Metroid 2 she eliminated all the mature Metroids on Tallon IV I believe, and took the last baby Metroid to a Federation research station. Next in Super Metroid, I'm hazy on this, but the Space Pirates attacked the research station, and stole the baby Metroid, so you had to fight the Space Pirates again I believe. There were the two Primes in between 1 and 2, and Zero Mission before 1, but there story isn't in question. After Super Metoid was Fusion I think.<p>So, I guess my question is, where does Adam fall into this (the real one, not computer), was it Super Metoid? If so, were there actually Federation troops in the game? I didn't get too far into it myself, but from what I did play, there were none.

The Space Pirates attacked a research station before the FIRST game.<p>Metroid 2 takes place on the planet SR388, the planet where the Metroids seemed to come from.<p>Super Metroid takes place back on Zebes, to eliminate the Space Pirates and their Metroids again.<br><p>[size=small][Edit by Benoit on [TIME]1111958366[/TIME]][/size]

I haven't played much of Super Metroid, but from what I gather, you work along side Adam at one point, or at least recieve orders from him. I don't know. <br>SR388 is the home of the Metroids. When Samus destroyed all but the infant Metroid, the parasite, X (which is the Metroid's main prey) population skyrocketed, causing the outbreak. Samus damaged a valuable part of SR388's ecosystem... the Metroids kept the X in check. Hence why Samus must take the Metroid Vaccine to live, and why she can absorb X in Fusion.

Seems valid, but I can't think of where it would be from. As far as I remember, Chozo settled across the Galaxy... some on SR388, Tallon IV and possibly Zebes if memory serves me. <br><blockquote>No, you don't. Samus makes explicit references to Adam that I've heard backed up through basic synopsis of Super Metroid. Have you actually played Super Metroid, or is this just speculation?

Well... I found this information based on the Metroids' origins from various Metroid websites, hosting official accounts of the Metroid universe. Like I've said before, I could be wrong on this.<p>No, this isn't speculation because I have played SM (Super Metroid) a few times, and it gives no reference towards Adam Malkovich in the game. Maybe Adam's involvent in the game's storyline is referred inside of the game's instruction booklet. I don't know this for sure because I only played its rom.<br>And... like I've said before, they might include him in the remake version of SM if Nintendo are planning one, that is.<br><p>[size=small][Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1110845321[/TIME]][/size]

Ok, and during this mysterious time they were together, they were in some kind of danger and Adam saved her by sacrificing himself...I find this a little odd but oh well.<p>Anyone know where the X parasites came from? Or were they just there?
