Ah, okay, being that Adam is not in Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion must be alluding to a mission that hasn't taken place in a game, or something of the like. Being that I haven't played Super Metroid, I assumed, because there was a gap in my own personal information, that Fusion was alluding to Super Metroid. <br><blockquote>And besides, Samus is a woman. Ok, if the X parasites were there anyway, how come you never ran into any in Metroid 2? You'd think that hunting down and killing all the Metroid on the planet you'd run into them sooner or later.

Aside from the fact that such a plot-hook wouldn't even be considered, (Fusion was years away) we can say that based on logic, it would take a long time for the effects on X repopulation to take place.

Sorry for bumping this topic, but I need some help with Metroid: Zero Mission as I am aiming for a 100% completion in the game.<p>Right, what I want to know is what is this 'spineshark' move, and how do you acquire it? Images of this move would be most helpful.

Spine sharking is.. complicated. It involves dashing to get a power boost, boosting, power boost, boosting, etc.

(Serious)<p>Big hole: Fusion comes far after Prime. The chronology for the games is as follows:<p>Metroid/Metroid Zero Mission (same game, MZM is remake of Metroid)-First game<br>Metroid Prime-less than one month after Metroid<br>Metroid Prime 2:Echoes-directly after MP<br>Metroid 2:Return of Samus-10 months after MP2, one year after Metroid/MZM<br>Super Metroid-One year after M2, 2 years after Metroid/MZM<br>Metroid Fusion-Three years after SM, do the math for the other games.<p>Second, it says at the beginning of MF that Metroids are the natural predators to the X. SInce we saw none, we can safely assume that the Metroids had eaten all of the X in the areas Samus visited.<p>Third, the Scan Visor is built into her suit. No one but her controls it.<p>Fourth, I don't know whose idea it was that Samus worked with anyone during SM. She was alone almost the whole game except for the Ecticoons, Dachoras, the Metroid, creatures, and of course Ridley and the rest of the Space Pirates made an appearence. The only human contact is at the beginning when she hands over the Metroid at the Space Station Ceres, and when she walks by their dead bodies on her way in and out.
