I don't doubt that you haven't seen anything that deserved bullying. Because, guess what! You're new! You check recent posts! Mage1 has been a member here for several months.<p>We have had A LOT of patience. We have repeatedly tried to get him on the right track, advised him on what to do, and asked him to stop acting the way he does.<p>In all these MONTHS, he hasn't taken ANY ADVICE.<p>My point? We tried. Hell, did we try! For months, we did!<p>It's admirable that you want to defend a fellow poster, but you know next to nothing about this case, so please stop it.

Yes, some(o.k., <i>almost all</i>) of what Mage1 has posted has been incoherent babble. Fine. Lay off the kid. I have said this about four-hundred twenty-one times...if you don't like it, don't read it. No one is gluing your eyes to the monitor of your computer and forcing you to read what he posts. If someone is, you should call the cops.<p>To Mage1:<br>They have put it the wrong way, but they <b>are</b> right--you need to act more mature. Babbling like a fool once every 12 or so posts isn't a problem. Posting incoherent stuff EVERY post gets on people's nerves. Make a post that acually has to do with something. Talk about Phantasy Star...that is what the board is here for. I respect almost everyone, even you. But I can see why many folks are mad at you.<p>To Starlight:<br>You are a great person for trying to defend someone that you don't even know like Mage1. I think the point of the proverb is that doing something bad against a person that's done something bad to you doesn't erase the original bad thing. So if someone kills your mom, killing their mom won't bring yours back. I wouldn't say a bully is evil. No baby is "evil", therefore it follows that something made him "evil" at some point in his life. I'm not saying you should let yourself be walked all over, but if a guy is picked on, then kicks the crap out of the bully he'll only find that the bully will return with reinforcements. Hate breeds hate, violence breeds violence.<p>If you start to lash out automatically you'll soon be as bad as them, then someone will come and kick the crap out of you because they feel you "need to be stopped" too. Also, just because retaliation with violence may work sometimes, it doesn't make it right. I could break into an orphanage and steal all the money within. It'd be easy and it wouldn't be guarded properly, but does it make it right?<p>If a guy has a crush on me but I don't like him, I could tell him to "F___ off!" or even kill him! That would stop it, but what the hell would the point of that be? Instead you would just imply gently that you're not interested in that sort of relationship. Being nasty will just lead to his sadness and future irrational actions on his behalf.<p>Everythings really very simple, humans just make it all so complicated! ^_^
