I was on it for a while, But I disliked having to SPAM POSTS just to gain the gold to buy items and participate.

Plus the level of RP is pathetic on there.

All the gold I ever got went to my worthless ex for presents.

Sigh.. I coulda had so much gold if I felt like SPAMMING.

It's actually not that hard to get gold there when you know how to deal with the market, and lurking, among other things, have had gold rates improved a bit so spamming isn't really nessisary anymore. Heck, I almost never post anymore and I almost always have a little under 100k to throw away at the end of any given month.
Can't argue about the RPing, or general intelligence for that matter, being pathetic.

When I was on Gaia Online. 3/4 years ago to be exact. This was before FISHING was implemented, the Casino.. There was only 4 places to go..

It was pathetic back then. I refuse to go back.

Anything about superheroes.

Anything about giant monsters.

Well... for starters I spend much more time admining the local gaming society's forum than is actually needed. I wiki a lot, there's some Facebooking going on and I check my mail every fifteen minutes or so.

Yeah, Gaia is pretty pathetic nowadays. It's become too commerical, like a Neopets clone.

However, there's at least one good thing I can say about it.

Whenever I go there I always feel smarter somehow.

I spend lots of time at IGN.com. They are good for annoucnements, and that way I don't have to jump around to find news on games, music, cars, and movies.

Checking the daily SSBB updates of course. Also spend a bit of time on facebook (I'm not an application whore), and sometimes Canadian news sites.
