The L-block from tetris is winning the Gamefaqs character battle.
It's a goddamn L-shaped brick. How did it beat up Sonic and Master Chief? By falling on their heads? Who the hell votes on these competitions? I bet they all only voted for the L-block for a laugh. Either that, or they (understandably) love the Tetris theme tune. Is this how governments are elected?

I was rooting for Samus, by the way. It was a hard choice between her and CATS.

Or else.. QUAFFIO will kill Gerard and start the Cat-bun wars!

P.S. It is common knowledge the battles are skewed result wise.

Doesn't Cloud and/or Sephiroth win this thing every year? Frankly ANY other character is a welcome change.

Personally, I find the idea of votes determining the outcome of a character battle anticlimatic. Watch a proper fighting tournament and you'll see what I mean.

People, you just don't understand the power of the Tetris block.

Think about it, when you needed that one special block to get a saving "Tetris", or to save yourself from doom. And you got that wrong block...all you could do was watch it fall. No force what-so-ever could stop that block from falling, and landing to cause you eventual doom.

If the creaters of characters liek Samus and Master Chief can not stop this block, then how can Samus and master Chief stop the block?

That game didn't reward SLOW/PAINSTAKING bean placement.

Later stages you had to just drop em down and hope for results. XD
