A realistic FPS.. Impossible?

Seriously.. People complain and moan about how the fps that claim to be "realistic" aren't.

Let's think about this...

A realistic FPS would have your ass dead with certain gun wounds, dead from shrapnel. Dead from blood loss.. A shot to the leg immobilizes alot.. Shots to the shoulder give stunnage.. Most enemies would use guns capable of immobilizing a single man or more..

Not to mention STRAFING? Name one gun fight where people actually side step to avoid a damn bullet. Seriously! Strafing is just a game concept.

Even in Lazer tag strafing doesn't work.

Now maybe paintball with a slow projectile but still!

Get in a real gunfight and just try to sidestep..

What else.. Jumping around? Duel wielding? Try sometime to hold two guns and aim at two seperate targets.. Or two targets in different ranges of your visual field. Far left and straight-ahead..

All those things, dying with one hit would make the game unlikeable and people would cry.

What does everyone else think? Would a realistic FPS ever come around?
