Will anybody be purchasing this game? I most likely will after final exams are done. The action RPG / loot thing looks kind of PSO/Diablo style. Cool looking bosses too.

There is no plot. You hunt monsters to gather materials to make new gear that makes you more powerful (there's no EXP grinding). Rinse and repeat.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that it is a Capcom game for the Wii. The monster hunter games sometimes don't make it out of Japan. The game is also being bundled with the Classic Controller Pro which looks much better than the current one. The game supports full online functionality (Capcom is ditching Nintendo's sh!tty interface).

The game looks incredible. When I first saw screenshots of the game I didn't really think too much about it because it looked like the game would be for the 360 or something. Capcom has done very impressive work.

Anyway, I'm a hack n' slash RPG fan and just thought I would see if anyone else is interested.

I have the demo and I have mixed feelings about the game. The premise is nice and the idea about getting into a party and slaying huge monsters together is awesome but the combat mechanics are odd and somewhat clumsy for the wii. I think I might end up buying this anyway.

There are PSP versions too...

But I have yet to play a single one of them...

I bought it yesterday. Pretty fun so far. The combat is a lot different from what I expected. It also came with widescreen.

I remember playing a demo of the first one on the PS2 a while ago, though never got around to getting the game. If the price isn't extortionate (as a lot are these days) then I might be tempted to get this one.
