What Kind of Graphics do you like?<p>I like both 2d and 3d.<p>(RPG XP is 2d-ish 3d)

Depends on the game.

I'd have to go with 3D. Not only because it looks good, but because you can accomplish so much more with a 3D engine.

I'm all about either, the 2d sweetness known as any console system, or PC system.......<p>I only like 3d effects if theyre not too effin 'over done. FFX = over done, albeit cool........they focused on that FAR too much.<p>Im more about the isometric gfx PS2 lends out w/ games like growlanser, and phantom brave, where its the ....really anime-esque, super colorful isometric stuff.....like the new Ys game.<p>Im still a super massive ultra crazy-like fan of the SNES graphics, and the NES graphics.......and..basically any 16 and 8 bit graphics.........ALSO the ones on PC, especially for the first person CRPGs.............<p>Most 3d games fail to deliver, except sci-fi ones honestly......

I like both 2D and 3D.<p>Some people may say that 3D gives more possibilities, but that's wrong. Eh, I like either given the right context. Pros and cons for each, so I can't really say that I hold a preference.

All in all, I prefer 2D retro games.<p>Like the original PS series and the original Sonics.<p>I've not got any bad feelings for 3D games though, I quite like many series of 3D games. Especially the 3D Zeldas and the new Sonic games.<p>Plus of course PSO Ep1&2 and Ep3.

This depends on the game, like Mono said. For example, let us take the graphic atrocity known to us as Final Fantasy VII. They were some of the worst 3D graphics I have ever seen. Then again, PSO pulled them off quite nicely.<p>2D graphic are...well, 2D graphics. You either do them poorly, acceptable, satisfactory, or very well. They come in all shapes and forms. I myself prefer 2D being the old skool gamer that I am.

I just want games to take the full extent that they can out of a system. No holding back.
