I can't stand the new "screemo" stuff. Like....some groups have vocalists that just get drowned out by the screamer...<p>Besides that, I am into literally everything. Theres not many songs I don't like.

Let's see here....<p>First there's classical music like Bach, Mozart, Pachel, etc.<br>Classical jazz/swing like Duke Ellington and Loius Armstrong. They are the men who inspired me to start playing the piano and trumpet, repsectively. I even played in a jazz band for some years.<br>"American" oldies (although some of the bands were British) from the 50s and 60s.<br>Piano music. Symphonic music. Video game music (very selective).<br>There's another type of music I really like but I doubt any of you would know what I was talking about; so it shall remain a mystery. :p

I can listen to almost any music depending on mood (except rap), but the music I find myself listening to more often are soundtracks. Also I have always been a sucker for strings: guitar, violin, chelo... I love almost all strings (except perhaps for ukulele, banjo, and similars).<p>Heh, I also like Moonlight Sonata Etra, but I often find myself rather graviating between Mozzart and Bach. Heh, precisely the one mod I created for Neverwinter Nights was 70% orchestrated by classical.

I listen to 80's early 90's rock/metal. cant stand this influx of monotonous cack known as house/rap/trance/anytihng with a sampled loop played for 5 minutes with a dude rapping. maybe its just my ignorance or does noone realise how bad the music of today is. As for my musical abilities I play guitar in a band with my nextdoor neighbour. Its a new situation since he was forced to perform an acoustic gig as his ex band stitched him up at a gig last friday. and on saturday he turnrd up on my doorstep and asked if I wanted to play guitar for him. our major influences are Soundgarden, Metallica, Tool to name but a few. no songs yet. 3 days is a bit soon for that. This will be my first band as Im seen by my most of my friends as too technical a player. I dont write songs but I do play a mean solo.

Anything but country and cRap (fo shizzle, yo)...besides that, most music's tolerable. :p<p>I do prefer rock and metal over most music, though. Except for the screaming part...I can't understand a word and my ears bleed... Whee!

My favourites have to be:<p>Classic Rock<br>Ska<br>Metal<p>In more or less that order.
