Green Day said that <i>Boulevard of Broken Dreams</i> is supposed to be an extension of <i>Holiday</i> in terms of how Holiday is supposed to show a life of excess, and Boulevard is supposed to show the aftermath of living life in such a manner. Why then, was Boulevard in a music video before Holiday was?
