The web is not meant to be seen and coded for one browser. Your page should work in all browsers. You made an error in your linking, and my browser was smart enough to see it. Don't rely on hacks that target a specific browser.<p>The Internet is defined by the W3C standards, not by a browser. Make your web site standards-compliant. What I asked for was an overview of the sites CONTENT as a whole. Not what generator I'm using. Not if I'm using HTML or not. Frankly, no one cares about that. No one (average) is going to sit there and pick at what I'm using on my site, unless they have absolutely NOTHING better to do and lead one hell of a boring life.

Hmm, first Mage1, now you Myau? It seems the MB is taking on the role on a free online billboard.<p>And Benoit, lay off the kid. He's new here, and if ANY website site has a problem, the worst thing to do is to tell its creator/webmaster how messed up it is and all that's wrong with it and how n00bish it is you need to use HTML coding blah blah blah. I would have thought by now that you'd have learned that aggressive negativism usually receives a reciprocative response. Take it easy, it'll help your blood pressure.<p>And as a side note Myau, people who are computer literate (which are not few in number these days) do care whether or not something is coded properly or not. You will find that Benoit is not the only one.

I wish I knew how to program even the basic HTML. I took computer classes for my degree... but only the basic computer science. I'd love to learn how to use Java and the like, but until then I'm pretty clueless, so, nobody will get any judgement from me! :p

Now, I'm definitely one to advocate the importance of web standards, but Benoit, you need to lay off. Everyone needs to start somewhere, of course, and if he becomes serious with his web design, he will recognize the limits of a WYSIWYG editor and move to HMTL, XHTML, or even CSS. Just wondering -- is it hard to learn coding and HTML? How would I go about learning it?

HTML is the easiest programming language (if you can even call it one) out there. You could probably find some easy to follow tutorials on the web, just do some searches. Also, you can check out other people's source codes for some help when learning (just don't steal the code ). If you know any other programming language (and even if you don't) it'll be easy to pick up on.
