This is rather famous....try this:<p>Get a copy of <i>Dark Side of the Moon</i> by Pink Floyd and a copy of Wizard of Oz. Start the album exactly on the third MGM Lion roar, and have it set to restart the album when it ends. Listen with the volume on the TV/VCR off while watching. Strange stuff happens.

Not this "Led Zeppelin is teh satan" again... <br>Okay, Stairway to Heaven was released before you could play records backwards. They couldn't have recorded a Satanic mesage onto the record, you know. So, essentially, it's obvious that these sorts of things are doctored and edited to sound like that. People will do anything to mar the names of famous people. <br>It's not too hard to move around some audio clips and arrange them to form practically whatever one wants.<br>

If anything, most of their lyrics have positive or contemplative messages, but nothing evil or Satanic. People also thought Iron Maiden was Satanic, because of their album and titles track called Number of the Beast. However, if you study the lyrics, you will see that the song is in no way glorifying Satan, and is about a man dreaming of evil acts and yes...Satan. On the contrary, some of Iron Maiden's songs are about prayer and religion.

Personally I think the whole "___ band is SATANIC!!!!!" is extremely stupid and ignorant.<br>Take Slayer for example; heheh, they could be interpreted as extremely satanic, and that's their intention. Shock value. Sure, it may be kinda stupid, but it's their image. Do you think they are REALLY 'guided by the devil'?<br>As was previously mentioned, Iron Maiden could be wrongly interpreted as satanic. Black Sabbath could also be interpreted as such... Along with any number of other bands you can think of, if you WANT to see satanic messages in them.<br>Even if old bands like Led Zep did put satanic messages in their songs, my guess would be they're laughing at the people who actually believe it.<br>I have no problem with religeon; it's ridiculous assumptions on behalf of it and/or zealotism that get to me. Note I'm not specifically accusing anyone here. :p

Aside from the fact that I don't like any of the bands mentioned above, this is a load of nonsense. If you're of the mind to dedicate time to actually FIND OUT that there are 'satanic' or 'subliminal' messages hidden in the lyrics of music artists, then where is your focus? Honestly, it takes two to tango.

Josiah, I was just pointing out a <i>possibility</i>. I don't necessarily believe that the devil was "guiding" Led Zepplin.<p>I'm more of a fan of Pink Floyd, but nonetheless I have a hard time imagining Led Zepplin is satanic in the <i>least</i>.<p>Now, Slayer, maybe.
