Well see.. that is a Dark Falz as opposed to a Dark Force... ROFL

Now as for PSU.. The AMF just decided to name their super computer Mother Brain.

I mean, if Metroid has a mother brain, and PS 2 does, why can't PSU?

It's pretty commonplace to re-use key elements from past titles of a video game series to apply them in future installments, albeit in a different universe.

Possible spoilers, but what-ho.

My theory is that Mother Brain could actually exist within PSO. After all, the crew of Pioneer 1 burrowed straight down to the Ruins, so there must have been something there that they were looking for. Especially that the Leukon Knight didn't activate for twenty-eight years suggests that Pioneer 1 were looking in a very specific place, for a very specific thing. Add the MOTHER project, and the accidental discovery of Dark Falz / the Profound Darkness.

The Ruins are a Spaceship of some sort, and it's a possibility that it is at least a spaceship from a previous game. So that could either be the Alisa III from PS3, or Noah from PS2. The Ruins are not a massive community of domes, so I am more inclined to think that the Ruins are Noah, and would contain the remains of Mother Brain. There's something about the final approach to Dark Falz that resonates with the final approach to the Earthmen on Noah.

And hello Stinx!

They were looking for Dark Falz. They wanted D-Cells. It has been established time and time again. The MOTHER project was a project involving D-Cells.
