Phantasy Star Cave Message Board

Hey, guys. I'm from the Zelda community. I was an active member of Zelda Universe, then I left and joined Zelda Dungeon, then I left and joined our private, community wiki, Zelda Wiki.org.

I'm also the current owner of two wikis of my own and a free forums which will soon become vBulletin/CMS. I'm 18, and I am a senior in high school. I also work at Dollar Tree.

On to PS...

I have the Sega Genesis Collection for PSP which I use to play PS2, 3, and 4. I have a ROM of PS on my computer, but I rarely play it. PS3 and 4 are my favorites.

Just when I thought we were an aging community, people like you and Semix show up (Well, Semix showed up earlier, but I didn't make the connection until now, haha), saying you played the classic PS games on the PSP...

That's pretty damn good.

Ehh...Not as much as other people. I was really hoping more for Zelda Wii. ST looks like another Phantom Hourglass disaster.

And yeah, I'm on there a lot. I'm one of the most frequent editors.

Aww, I liked Phantom Hourglass. Part of why I'm looking forward to Spirit Tracks, obviously.

You find it to be a good thing that I played them on my PSP and wasn't part of the original hype? (I was alive then, y'know)

Most people would tear me to shreds over that.

With "aging community" I meant us, the ones that played the original releases, not the fact that some of us ARE nearing or above 30.

People playing the classic titles and winding up here is a good thing in my book. Comes to show that there are those who still can appreciate those pixellated, barely colored (by today's standards) games with music that sounds more like "beep-boop-ding-ding".

The more, the merrier as they say.

It's a great series. Hey, the only thing wrong with it is that I couldn't figure out what in the hell half of the items were supposed to DO! That's why I loved PSIV so much. It describes them!

I just wish they were a little longer. I mean, I'm still not done with PSII, and I've not yet beaten all 6 endings of PSIII, but I've defeated Dark Force on PSIV. I'm still trying to beat him with every different character choice. My most successful one was Demi, I believe.

Oh, about PSI, does anyone know where I could find a version to use on my PSP or something? Maybe they have a collection for another portable system like a gameboy? I really want to beat it!

Well... There is a Game Boy Advance Phantasy Star Collection that contains PSI, PSII and PSIII. No PSIV. What I didn't like of that collection, though, is that the sound gets really screwed up sometimes. The graphics aren't that nice either, but I just got used to the original versions, so that's just my view of it. There's a collection for the PS3 and Xbox360. Sonic's somethingorother Collection. I've been looking for it, but no luck... nor money...

HOWEVER... If you have a hacked PSP... I recommend an emulator any day... They have better emulation quality... They even put to shame collections like the Samurai Shodown Collection and the KOF collection...
