A quest every month isn't enough for me to be paying that much. I want server coverage. How can people get away with making games like "Dupers Here"? Why should we have to make games called "Legits Only"? Why should the entire trade window option be taken from us because hacking has scared people? Why are there no Download Quests (which is specified that there would be)? And as far as freezing goes, it happened to me twice, each time with a conciquence.
Paying monthly for a game should mean full 24 hour work in every aspect of a game. You shouldn't have to pay for all the same things that a game like Diablo 2 has to offer.
I wasnt aware that a private server would be illegal. Heh.

It's their problem if they do care. Can't have it all...
Page 27? I guess it says "when Download Quests will be available", right? Well, it doesn't say when. You never know when it's going to come.
Consider also that Sonic Team needs money to maintain their servers. If more people would play online, we might be seeing Download Quests. Because if there were Download Quests right now, they would stay offline longer. They need to lure people online.

After more than two years, we can start asking, "will they come?"

Well PSO and Soul Calibur were DC games but the other 2 were for Saturn. I wouldn't pay to play GC PSO, almost everything that has been changed in ep1/2 I have heard is changed for the worse from what DC PSO was. I know some people who play GC PSO as well as DC, so I get to hear them talk about all the various changes in the GC version.

Changed for the worse? That's utter crap. I've played the three versions for hundreds of hours, and the GameCube version is a vast improvement.
We now have an Ultimate mode which doesn't require you to go PERCENTS?!?!, one of the biggest flaws with PSO Ver.2
The percents were fixed. They are now less powerful, which is good, because they were outbalancing the game.
Technique usage is now balanced and MST actually has bearing on the strength of the Technique now. MST used to be just so it would take longer before you had to take a Trifluid.
That's some changes I can think of right now.

How about that only forces can use all techs? Sure Sega may say "we're balancing it" but instead of making NEW techs for forces they just crippled non forces. I mean come ON, only forces can use reverser? They are the FIRST to die! That's utterly pathetic, and it truly pisses me off that non forces are forced to carry around moon atomizers. And somehow, I doubt Sega fixed it so you can carry 99 moons, you're still probably stuck with 10. What are you supposed to do? Just say "sorry everyone, I can't revive you, I'm out of moons, looks like only I get exp from Falz"? That kind of bullshit is only for droids. MST does effect your technique power on DC/PC a great deal on resta, but not that much on attacking techniques. I've also heard that shifta/deband range is pathetic on GC. That would really annoy me, I'd always feel like I was stuck on a challenge mode game having to "group up" just to use shifta/deband. Bah. I'm not going to waste my shield slot on some low def "merge" to boost range on a tech that should have range already, except that Sega f***ed it up. Hmm... I didn't mean for this topic to turn into a ranting conflict about which version of PSO is better, but GC PSO really annoys me lol. !@#$

How about that only forces can use all techs? Sure Sega may say "we're balancing it" but instead of making NEW techs for forces they just crippled non forces.

Hunters and Rangers are pretty much warriors, proficient with weapons. It actually doesn't make sense that they would know all those Techniques, since that's not what they specialize in.
Furthermore, Shifta/Deband on a HUmar was pretty unbalancing. On Dreamcast, the most powerful class was always HUmar, hands down. No balance. You had to be wanting to be under-powered not to play a HUmar.

I mean come ON, only forces can use reverser? They are the FIRST to die! That's utterly pathetic, and it truly pisses me off that non forces are forced to carry around moon atomizers.

In regular RPGs, revival spells were also given to the weaker-in-defence mages, and it worked out fine. It's only logical. I'm also not sure of being the first to die in a team. It depends on how you play them. Their Techniques give them a good range, so I doubt they get much hits. But I can understand for boss battles. Though, you shouldn't go in a boss battle if you can't survive it in the first place.

I've also heard that shifta/deband range is pathetic on GC.

Play a FOmarl, they specialize in support. Or other Forces, which have better range because of Technique level. The other classes are pretty much warriors, that don't specialize in Techniques and hence wouldn't have that great range. Though, playing a HUnewearl among others, I don't think it's that bad a range.
You say that you 'heard' all this stuff. Why not try it out yourself instead of bashing it just on hearsay?

I don't need or want a Gamecube, or I would have tried it already. To each his own, I can't stop you from liking GC PSO, and it would be a stupid endevour to try anyway lol.

If Sonic Team would ban all Dupers, Glitchers, Cheaters and Hackers there would be VERY LITTLE income for them. All these Dupers, Glitchers, Cheaters and Hackers do pay 8 dollars or how high this fee is -a month-, although I might not be suprised if they have some hack for that too! :@
Now they're introducing PSO:BB, which offers no cheaters or hackers (Broomop got IP-banned from PSO:BB today! :) ). Well this should be totally for legit people. ~_~ GameCube? X-Box? Noone plays GameCube or X-Box anymore? Stupid ST keeps porting PSO on different systems, there's even a Nintendo DS version coming!
Why not just download the illegal PC version so everyone from PScave can then play together. I see it as illegal but who cares? There's tons of Dupers, Glitchers, Cheaters and Hackers on the GameCube version and ST doesn't do anything about them.
:hardcore: Let's all HACK 2B LEGIT on the DC/PC Version. Who's with me! :hardcore:

[Edit by Butoden on [TIME]1092422235[/TIME]]
