i have just made a Hucast lvl 42 it is redria and has a Nidra mag: POW-133 DEF-16 DEX-34 MIND-1<p>i have a victor axe+9,varista,Flowens sword+21, and a diska of braveman+9 that i use<p>i have 4 ogre/powers but use one elf arm so that i can use a varista<p>i cannot do enough to survive in VH ,the forest even,and i was wordering what i could do to get more power (i've been trying growing my mag and character lvls but its not working very well<p>please help

Hmmm. Well, you desribe it like your having trouble with doing damage, but your using the strongest character <p>Lets see, using my knowledge....<p>Since you are Redria, you find a God Body from a Nar Lily in Very Hard, find one and equip it. <p>Weapons? A Yamato from the Dragon in Very Hard is a very good primary HUcast weapon throughout Very Hard. <p>Your MAG should be ok, though the wasted level of Mind will want to be made up for.<p>Over all, you may have to just brush up on your Hunter skills. You are the strongest class, so you should be doing good enough damage (at least in the Forest at your level). Always try to use the best armour you can. If your having trouble with surviving from hits, you can find a Secret Gear from a Gilchic in Hard mode. That is a good DFP adding shield, requires level 44. Your problem does add some pondering still.

Try to get the Delsaber Set, very good set, boosts EVP alot and ATP as well.

Not that slow. And they're very strong.

If you don't like them, you shouldn't use them. Even Doublesaber is slow on a HUcast (IMO, HUcaseal and HUnewearl are much better with Doublesabers).<br>The Delsaber set is stronger than Yamato and provides better defense. Of course, you might not be able to find the set since you're still @ Vhard forest. Best places to look is Hard Ruins and VHard Ruins.

I agree: the Yamato-type weapons are the slowest ones, expecially in strong and special attacks.<br>I can only suggest you to use all the traps you have to freeze and confuse your enemies and hope to find a CHARGE weapon: they really do lots of damages. It's better to use a multi-target weapon than a single-target one as Yamato.<br>If you can, raise another mag and get one that casts shifta & deband, which is far more usefull on androids characters. If you dedicate it the needed time, you can raise a mag with Mylla&Youlla even with no MIND at all.

I've successfully used Yamato for a good time. Why does everyone think it's slow? Am I the only one who can use it successfully and doesn't think it's that slow? Or is it because I use a HUmar?

The Humar combo is faster than the rest.

Rather, the male combo is the fastest.<br>No, Benoit, I have used the Yamato to great success, and still do (to some degree), but I prefer faster weapons, even if they have less attack. Still, I would <i>love</i> an Asuka, but only after using a God Battle.<br>Basically, I prefer Daggers, Partisans and Sabers over all others.

I think HUcaseal has faster Twin Sword (Yamato/Musashi/Asuka-type) animation, but at her third combo she loses too much time. Twin Swords are just slower than others, it's common knowledge. Im not a big fan myself, although I did fought Dragon alot to get one. Same with Musashi, and soon with Asuka (Barba Ray! #) )<p>BUT, anyways... for Forest I would suggest a Mech and a Saber. For Caves you should add a handgun for disarming traps and hitting Nano Dragons and Lilies maybe, HUcast won't get poisoned or paralized anyways. For mines bring a sword or partisan, whichever fits you. Doing Mines runs always raised my level pretty quick, especially on Hard and Normal, getting ready for the Ruins... #)

Is the Yamato in the same family as G Assassin's sabers? If thats so, then the females attack with a more ranged pattern, sticking the whole weapon out, while males tend to be a little slower.
