Stance on Cheating and useing hacked items?

I knew some great guys who were hackers and I knew some jerks who were legit players. I had about 15 duplicated items and many great traded items at one point on Xbox. With all the stuff I had, I was pretty hard to kill at lvl 110 even in the ultimate seabeds. Well after a bad character transfer I lost all of my items and money. That's what I get. You know what? I kinda miss those days, I had a great time playing with some great guys who had hacked items too. But the hacking KILLS the WOW factor of PSO, that is finding a great rare weapon after all of your hard work. It kills PSO and the community. It allows PSO newbies who can't spell "monomate" to rip through the game without using any skill while legit PSO veterans are getting smacked down by el rappies. Duplicating/hacking corrupts the whole PSO gaming experience and for that reason, I personally stand against hacking/duping. <p>However if a player has hacked item(s) and he/she is a blast to play with then great lets play! I'm here for the fun of playing. I won't take any of his/her items but I'm not going to "blackball" that person. At my level, it doesn't really matter. Whether you use a duplicated Double Cannon or not, it wont make much of a difference to me.

Yeah I see your point , at lvl 164 you could care less. I think it's more of a problem at lower levels when hacked weapons make more of a difference with your character. Hey even at lvl 139 I could care less about the person with the Tsumikiri J sword.... People should earn their weapons the old fashion way it makes the game more fun.

It has, though, I have yet to earn a weapon at the Lavis Cannon rarity level.

I had many bad experiences at the hands of Hackers usind PSO v1 and towards the end I aquired a cheat disc with a magazine and used the lv100 hack just as I was fed up with being turned into Nol and losing not only my Items but my whole charcter and Exp. I now understand how people feel on both ends, and have come to the conclusion that for me at least, it is more satisfying to spend a little time and get the pay off the way it was designed to be obtained.

I could be wrong...but if I do have it, it wasn't that rare.

The 3073 only drops for Purplenum.<p>Flowen's Sword has a "common" variety that almost any sector ID can obtain; the dated versions are all exclusive to that sector ID (the same can be said of DB's Saber/Sword).
