You ahve to take into account some things.<p>What does "this" mean?<p>If someone has that question...how do you broaden it? You don't. YOu wait until someone answers the question, then be happy with it. Some things can be excused in my opinion.

I know it's RAM, I made a mistake. A ROM is a CD or Floppy Disk (or similar to either, like DVD), Read-Only Memory. RAM is Random Access Memory, which you can use whenever without a CD or any external devices to load your target from.

Actually.. If you want to get technical..<p>The predecessor to the CD-ROMS we see now were the WORM DISKS.<p>Write Once, Read Many.<p>They were usually surrounded in a hard plastic shell.<p>Ah, the old days of Computers...<p>Now who here remembers 360 KB 5 1/4th floppies?

Wow...really old. All I've ever used are 3 1/2in., 1.44 MB floppies, not counting those monster zip disks that have like 10MB on them. Of course, all I really ever use are CDs, so that isn't much of an issue.<p>By the way, though my fault for starting it, this has gotten really fftopic: a lot. But that's ok, half the fun is going out on a tangent.
