A little late for this, but welcome all the same. I prefer your longer intro to the two sentences the average newcomer spews out upon arrival. And Ecco is so lame that it rocks.

Ecco lame? You smoking crack or something? I played AND FINISHED the two Ecco games on the Mega Drive, and they were hard. To my knowledge, there hasn't been any other game that simulated the sea physics so well.

Yes, I'm smoking crack. Lots and lots of crack. Or perhaps you should read the rest of my former post... "... is so lame that it rocks." In other words, the concept of a game based on a dolphin is so absurdly lame that it's cool.

Hes saying that, the idea of having a dolphin game, is lame, but sega managed to pull it off because the game is sweet.

"... And then there was Light!"Kex, you must be pretty young if you don't know who Ecco the Dolphin is. He was one of the earliest popular icons for the Megadrive system. Almost every kid I knew that had a MD bought that game.

Ecco is also the most realistic simulation of underwater life, with the most beautiful environment I have EVER seen in my life..........on dreamcast.

.You can seriously be tricked into thinking its a real scene etc. ....and doing flips can keep you occupied for a LONG time. ....I swam around in the first little area for about 3 and a half hours....I was mesmerized
