I haven't seen the issue yet myself, so please don't press me for details. Here's what he said:<p>- Independent Offline and Online modes confirmed<p>- Offline is a full-on 40-hour single-player RPG -- I guess this is where the "Is it Phantasy Star V?" bit came from in the E3 trailer last year<p>- Online is basically a true sequel to PSO, but apparently it's NOT an MMORPG. EGM says there'll be more party members than PSO, but they don't clarify how many<p>- Character creation system is apparently very nice (that's where the "breasts" comment came from, I guess)<p>- Class system is very different from PSO's, more open-ended<p>- They feature two pages on offline, two pages on online, and an interview with Yuji Naka. Lots of new screens, too<p>Subscribers are getting their issues now (he got his today), so I suppose more info will be popping up soon.

Sounds just like I thought it would be, and I hate that fact that it looks like its going to be just lik PSO conbined, wtf is the point? They're just making a new PS Story and adding in a PSO online thing as well, as I said before THATS CRAP. If they wanted to make an MMO besides the real story of PSU then thats grand, but PSO sucked for its very small worlds and very few and boring monsters, I don't see how I could like the online capablitys, meh guess we have to wait for more.<p>Atleast storymode seems to be going in the right direction.

I wish I could, but, as far as I know, the entire EGM article has not been scanned & posted or even typed out yet. <p>what I posted above was john tv's *summary* of that artcle that he got. I am sure someone will scan the article soon though. when that happens, and if i see it, i'll post it here

They didn't like the ammount of enemies! They didn't like the small worlds! What do we do! Its not like we have any ability to improve....WHAT DO WE DO!!!"<p>Do you really think thats what went through ST's mind? You make it seem as if they have no game design skill at all.<p>As far as those specs. It all seems good so far. Nothing there that I do not like. But more finer points need to be added. I am really looking for the ability to use the same character offline as in online mode. If you really want me to tell you everything wrong with PSO I will gladly tell you, but oviously I was just stating a few things to as to not waste my time nor the time of you the reader.

Whatever they do it would be best not to have a HUB.<p>It should be more like actual worlds that let you set your own <br>homepoint or whatever. <p>
