Well...there is still time.
What I want to here is an interview! Where we can here exactly why they chose not to release on the GC. Nintendo is so blind...they need someone to litterally go up to there face and say "You suck"
(Kept it short instead of a ten minute rant)

You can build ur own decent computer 400-500 bucks *and it will be twice as good as a Dell*

Yeah, I know. A custom-built computer is always better.

I know I would spend much less upgrading this old machine than buying a Game Cube. And more, I wouldn´t spend all this money just to play games, but also to make it work faster for me in many ways. In all aspects, it´s an advantage.

If you have an old computer, it will be the same as buying a new PC, since it's very likely that you will need a new motherboard.
Have you looked at the prices of computer parts? They are not cheap. Especially high-level graphics cards cost a lot, and you won't use that card much if you buy it just for PSU. So it's not all an advantage.
GameCube is also cheap compared to what a PS2 and an XBox cost.

Even the Dreamcast sells better there!

There hasn't been a posted Dreamcast console sale in japan in over a year. The Xbox is doing a little better now and is picking up steam.
As for the Sega dn the PS2, Virtua friggin Fighter 4 people. That is still their biggest selling game since going 3rd party.

Please, you can use a 32 or a 64 mb graphics card to do what a 128 can do.
YOu don't necessarily have to upgrade the card

Uh no! A 32 or 64mb graphics card will not have the same processing power as a 128 or the new 512mb graphics cards. the 128mb cards can do 10x more stuff in shading, geometric or otherwise, polygon count and z buffering that a 32 or 64mb can't handle.
[Edit by HuBBsDoctor on [TIME]1113174832[/TIME]]

Hubbs, my Mobility Radeon 7500 on my laptop can run most of the games out with the same quality as the recommended specs.
O.o That shows my words are true.
It is all in how you program. MIN requirements exist for a reason.
Someone in video game design school should know that. You can push the smallest tech to do the most.
Software rendering anyone?
Still Hubbs, you should know that.
[Edit by Lord Khyron on [TIME]1113184353[/TIME]]

last time i checkd gigo you don't ahve any graphic card pushing games on your laptop. most of that stuff you havea freeware mmorpg's. I got games that wouldn't even run decent on an ATI radeon 7500 with minimum requirements.
I had problems running neverwinter nights on my geforce 2 mx400 64mb card. now it runs ten times smoother and faster with my geforce fx 6800 128mb
And the reason the dreamcast still had better sales figures than the xbox is because Japanese people don't ike American game consoles. The xbox wasn't welcomed nor was the Atari Jaguar or the original atari 2600. You try selling something in japan that isn't welcomed.
[Edit by HuBBsDoctor on [TIME]1113189746[/TIME]]

Actually Hubbs, you've never stopped to ask what games I do have to play. Nor do I feel I need to brag about my selection of games like most people do.
Freeware MMORPG's? Last i checked, the one I play and pay for was P2p for the good stuff.
I don't even have to defend what I play on my laptop to you. The fact that I do not brag about playing Doom 3, WOW, NWN or any of the other graphic intensive games.. You judge too fast Hubbsy.
As for NWN, check out the min and recommended specs?

http://nwn.bioware.com/about/requirements.html

LIke I said before, You know not what I run on my laptop, because I don't feel I need to brag just to feel better about myself and my pc.
I edited out my statement to you Hubbs, we will talk if I Ever see you on AIM.
[Edit by Lord Khyron on [TIME]1113201118[/TIME]]

I don't brag about the games I own. I've mentioned having doom3, NVW and guild wars. And that's pretty much it.

Yes and those games don't require a 128 mb graphics card to run well.
If that was the case, 32/64, special Geforce Asylum 64 mb cards, they wouldn't exist.
Min exist for a reason.

Uh no! A 32 or 64mb graphics card will not have the same processing power as a 128 or the new 512mb graphics cards. the 128mb cards can do 10x more stuff in shading, geometric or otherwise, polygon count and z buffering that a 32 or 64mb can't handle.

Ever heard of the special Geforce Asylumn 64 mb version? With the added pipeline? Same power as the 128.
MIN requirements exist for a reason Hubbs. They prove that lesser cards can equal greater cards.

And the reason the dreamcast still had better sales figures than the xbox is because Japanese people don't ike American game consoles.

Doesn't matter, because my point still stands. XBox sold less than the Dreamcast when it came out.

MIN requirements exist for a reason Hubbs. They prove that lesser cards can equal greater cards.

Just look at the beauty of the PowerVR Kyro. 32 MB, if I remember correctly, yet it worked perfectly for things that required 64 MB. It was underrated though. ATI still releases new drivers though.

Doesn't matter, because my point still stands.
