Holy crap... This game is addictive and very, very well done. The weapons are useful and versatile, the stages are very fun and challenging and the responsiveness of the character is very good.

Not to mention the music, which is very nice and catchy. The graphics, styles after 8 bit games are very, very nice.

More people should try this game.

Well, this is my first post in many years... Right now I'm playing Resonance of Fate. I figured Sega and Tri-Ace would be a good combo. First impression was bad, I hated the seemingly over complex battle system... but now that I've gotten the hang of it, it's actually become a lot of fun.

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. Despite some odd moments this game is very good. Being able to play through RE 0, 1, and 3 without the archaic controls/camera is fantastic. I look forward to starting Darkside Chronicles soon. I've also been playing some Geometry Wars: Galaxies. Good retro fun with that game.

I've been playing through Dragon Ball Origins (DS) the past days. Mostly because I like Dragon Ball and I like the story sequences. The game is a poor Legend of Zelda clone with iffy controls. It makes me wonder if whoever designed this tried to play it himself.

I'm looking forward to tackling Shiren the Wanderer next.
Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

Been enjoying Parasite Eve II lately, although interrupted by Beyond Oasis (I still don't like it much), Street Fighter 4 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. What I'm awaiting the most, though, it BlazBlue: Continuum Shift. I hear the online mode of the first was even better than Street Fighter 4's, so if that's anything to go by, Continuum Shift's gonna be a blast. I also want a non orthodox fighter in my PS3. I only have Boobie Calibur 4 and Street Fighter 4, which are both old style.

Bought Dragon Quest 9...its okay. Not to exciting so far.

Also, a new pawn shop opened and it had tons of repossessed games from an old movie store. They've been in storage for ages so I grabbed a bunch of N64 games + controllers with good analog sticks! Games are: Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Jemini and Space Station Silicon Valley.

That game will give you nightmares, I swear. =P

Ya know, I remembered the time my brother played Silent Hill for the first time. The fool sat playing ALL evening and a large chunk of the night, up to 5 AM. When he finally wanted to sleep, he couldn't. The game had him so stressed that he barfed everything he had eaten. Poor guy. But honestly, I laughed my ass off. And I still remind him about it, much to his displeasure.

"Dude, remember the time you barfed because you were playing Silent Hill?"

"SHUT UP!! You just won't stop reminding me!"

"Of course not! Your pale face, your hands trembling and subsequent fountain of vomit were priceless. If you ever have children, I will tell them the story of their daddy and Silent Hill."

"You suck..."

Finished Anubis: Zone of the Enders (Second Runner, I have the Japanese version) for the first time since 2007. I have to say that my skill has decayed somewhat, but is still enough to recover during the game. The final boss was still fun.

I wish they made a new one, but after listening to the Kojima Productions Report, I got kind of sad. They confirmed they had plans for a ZOE3, but postponed them because they are working now on Metal Gear Solid Rising, Kojima is thinking about either a new IP or something else and that possible MGS3 remake. Argh... Honestly, the 3DS remake of MGS3 doesn't interest me one bit. If they made remakes of MG1 and MG2 (the original MSX games), it'd be cool, but I'm assuming they will go with MGS3. I'm also sure that Kojima won't make a new IP, instead do yet another Metal Gear, which leaves me with mixed feelings. I am interested in Rising, but what I really want is a ZOE. There hasn't been a new one since 2003, with the version I have being a minimal expansion of ZOE2.
