Odd... I didn't know a patch I installed in my PSP made some games I bought from the PSN store run in my custom firmware... Sweet! They're very small games, but they're gonna get some love in my PSP from now on.

Legend of Kunoichi and Echoes. Two good games people should take a good look at.

I played some more Rudger's Adventure today, and was able to get further into the game. ...But now I'm stuck again. I need to find something hidden in a forest, but I have no idea how to find it.

I'm giving Valkyria 3 a good go at the moment of writing this. I'm very surprised at how much of an improvement this third game is from the second.

The biggest improvements are the story, which is more serious and hard to stomach at times. I had today a difficult time with a scene that involved the death of civilians and one of the characters suffering from their agony and his impotence when wanting to help them. On the other hand, at this very moment, I'm in this game's version of my favorite stage from the first game. The fortress of Ghirlandaio, and I'm ecstatic about how much better the new maps are. I think I'm gonna post some pictures as soon as I can.

The new music (VC2 and 3 reuse some tracks of the first and 3 from 2, but that's a good thing) is awesome, especially during Imca's super called open fire, in which she locks onto several targets and unleashes a barrage of missiles. Pure awesome. Riela's (the girl with red and white hair) theme is the very definition of sweet.

Back to the game for me!

Yesterday I finally finished Rudger's Adventure! Without a walkthrough! Woohoo! It's a good game, but it sucks how some monster fights rely a lot on luck with the dice.

Today I played and finished Kinds' Adventure. In retrospect, it was a bit short, but I like it best out of the series so far. It has great atmosphere thanks to the in-character text, the music and the environment. It even had a distinct tune for some areas!

I've also been playing Etrian Odyssey III lately. The final floor has been reached... The monsters have been getting so tough lately that I've been running from fights more than I'd like.

I woke up after a good nap. Good, I feel better and my weakness of several hours ago is gone. Now, to eat and play more.

I've been doing character missions in Valkyria 3. The guy who is really a chef's was fun. Now I'm going to do the medic girl's. It's titled "Sin and Lie" for something.

I also did the mission of a shocktrooper named Gizelle... To be honest, it was kind of... weird to say the least.

I read some reviews and it sounds like fun...but not enough to warrant a purchase. Apparently the game is lacking in offline modes. Secondly, I learned that the control scheme borrows from Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Thirdly, since the game was revealed I have always felt that Tatsunoko vs. Capcom had a better looking art style.

Although I don't doubt that the game is fun, I currently own TvC and have access to MvC2 and Super Street Fighter 4. I think I'll skip this one for now...

Looked awesome though, I'll watch the whole thing tomorrow.

I played Marvel VS Capcom 3 a bit at a friend's today, before coming back home. It was good, but I'm not going to buy it... EVER.

Reason? Jill and Shuma Gorath, two DLC characters are already on the disc, yet they want us to pay for unlocking codes.

You know what, Crapcom? Screw you in the ass with the Gurren Lagann drill. I'm not buying a single game you make again. Megaman 10 was the last straw. I wanted Bass and so I paid for that character, but still feel ripped. DLC should be a way to widen the experience of a finished game with new content, not stuff that's locked away to make an extra buck later.

FRAK YOU!!!

Playing Macross Triangle Frontier (I still hate the name) again.

I've finished the Zero, original TV series, original movie, Frontier and Macross II campaigns. Now, I have to go and do the ones I didn't really like... Macross Plus, Macross 7 and Macross Dynamite 7... Why didn't I like them? Well, in the case of Plus, while the animation was excellent and still looks good, despite the time that has passed, the Soap Opera/stupid drama between the three protagonists (two males, one female, guess what kind of drama it is) never grew on me. I hated Isamu, I hated Myung, and Guld, the engineer went and fraking died...

Regarding the 7 series... What can I say? The main character, Basara Nekki is definitely the most annoying anime character I have ever had the disgrace of suffering... I also never liked the main characters' machines, only liking the NON hero mechs, especially the badass VF-22S Sturmvogel IIs that appear in the final episodes.

I should have started with Macross 7 instead...

Today I played and completed Amia's Adventure. Short but good.

Later I decided to also play Huey's Adventure. It was simple at first, but I eventually got stuck. I have no idea what to do now. There are a couple items that I haven't had a use for in my inventory, but I have no idea what to do with them. Damn it!

Downloaded a PSN exclusive: Crescent Pale Mist. Reminds me a lot of the Playstation Megaman X games (4-6).
