I dunno about chewing; the last time I talked to a dentist about it, I was scolded for chewing on ice, so I get a mixed message about that. (What, am I supposed to swallow the ice whole?)

I've just noticed a correlation that I've neglected to account for in the past. Just as the author's mood affects the story he's writing (an angry writer may harm characters he normally really likes), it appears that some characters can also backfeed their emotions into the writer. One of my experiments has been bothering me since I really want to know what happens next in it, yet I struggle to make myself work on it. This phenomenon seems to be playing a role in it; I hate being sad, and the character that's backfeeding emotion at me is about as sad as she can get.

Currently laughing my ass because of my brother.

He bought his favorite hot sauce to put on his food (I can't stand it). When he came down to eat, he prepared his food, set everything and then... couldn't open the glass jar with the sauce inside.

He struggled for 20 minutes, until he finally gave up. After I finished snacking some stuff, I took the jar that had defeated him. I brought it outside, hit it three times on one side, three on the other side. The lid was pressure sealed, so if I allowed a bit of air to enter the jar, everything would be fixed.

I gave it to him and he asked me: "What did you do?"
My response was just "I used tools... You prehominid..."

Alas, no. Just lady woes. Suffering from Apathy Syndrome, as the economist mind of mine fails to see an adequate return on investment on the whole dating thing, no matter how pretty the girl is. *shrug* On the bright side, my dating life withers, my writing remains strong!
