Rune knew all along????

Hey wait a minute. if Rune was going to go get the Psycho Wand, surely he should of brought everyone with him? he did warn Chaz to not go against Zio. but the group went in there anyways. ....<p>maybe if Rune brought them along to Termi and then to that tower for the Psycho Wand before going to Zio's fortress, Alys would still be alive?

Rune didn´t know they WOULD go face Zio. He knew the Psycho Wand was necessary to defeat Zio, I think that if he knew they were going there in first place, he would have brought them with him to Ladea Tower.<p>I thought about the possibility of Rune letting them go face Zio so the black magician could kill Chaz... but that´s just what I would do :^D<p>(can´t speak of PS4 without bashing Shorty ^.^)

lol!!! that's so crazy XD <p>ya. I guess their quest in Zema and then going to Aiedo led to the eventual entrance of Zio's Fort. <p>but dont you think they would know its Zio's Fort before entering it? <p>"its Zio's Fort"<p>"Rune said we shouldnt fight Zio"<p>"but there is a Laser Sword inside!" <p>"woohoo! Technically if I recall..<p>They rescue Demi, then Zio shows up. <p>They really had no choice in the matter... Zio had to be fought. <p>Saner ignores alot.

well yea, Zio showed up after they rescued Demi. Still, they knew it was Zio's fortress and they had been warned against going. My theory is that it's simply a matter of courage overcoming caution. I think if Rune had known they would go to the fort he would have given them more information (such as "if you don't have the psycho wand you're totally going to die"), but he had no way of knowing they would find out about Demi.

There's also the whole fact that Rune got to Termi because he's been there before, and he used Ryuka. This would involve you suddenly being able to transport your team to any town on the map that Rune's ever been to.<p>I always had this idea that Rune was precognative. Can anyone tell me why Rune knew Chaz's name when NOBODY, not even Alys, said it aloud?

Ok, in touching the fact that they fought Zio, let us remember that they went into the fortress with the specific goal in mind to rescue Demi and nothing more. If you remember the cut scene when Zio shows up, he says "...thought you'd sneak in while the master was out?" (or something like that I'm quoting from memory) Anyway, it seems clear that they weren't looking for a confrontation with him at all. In fact, I'm pretty sure they would want to get out of there as fast as possible. Unfortunately that's not how the story goes, and Alys dies by taking the shot for Shorty. hehe, where's Benoit?<p>And as for why Rune knew Chaz's name, I'd concur that he can either read one's mind (after all, he did inhereit Lutz's powers and memories) and Sega wanted to throw us for a loop, or they just messed up. But in the end the possibility of him being psychically gifted is much cooler.

aaaah! but still. rescuing Demi was not that top priority if Rune really meant they have no chance against Zio. <p>sneaking into a fortress is ridiculous! they'd think the owner would go out to lunch?

I had forgotten the comment about sneaking in while the master was out. Although as I said, they were obviously willing to risk confrontation with Zio. They knew he was powerful but they obviously had no way of knowing that he was invincible so they probably expected that they would be able to escape without any actual casualties.
