PS4 is the most linear game of the series, you can´t get stuck without putting much effort on it :^P

Does it say Phantasy Star: The End of the Millenium? 'Cause that's the Japanese version. I've made the same mistake.

lol i got stuck because there was this one tunnel you had to go through, but the entrance to it looked like all the other indents in the wall that did nothing when you walked into them, so i got lucky when i noticed it was slightly darker.

You've got alot to learn about traditional RPGs...
As for me, Phantasy Star was one of my first RPGs...but before playing it, I was introduced to the genre through Golden Sun. An easy RPG, but good to initiate newcomers into the genre, including the well-known mechanics RPGs all have. Of course, the game had some interesting touches and story too, so I still hold Golden Sun with a certain amount of respect.
Of course, in an RPG there is alot of content, and you can play the game anyway you want. I get more out of the game when I become a stats and technique freak, but if that is too heavy for you, you could always play by the seat of your pants and just kill...
