Are the god shields any good?

Jherm and i are now in the last stage of challenge mode. Our times are not good enough for S rank, but we can still get the other ranks and prizes. I am just curious, since I am in huge need of a shield for my hunter, are the god shields any good at all?<br>

Yes. they are. they are kinda rare tho.

At least online, your times on Challenge Mode are saved. I'm not sure about offline, I've heard a rumor that you have to start it all over again. But I don't think that's true.

I dont think it saves. In challange mode, when you die, you go up a few levels right?

Offline challenge mode does save when you complete a stage. Jherm and i also want to try completeing challenge (S-Rank Time) by ourselves offline. O far in the ruins we have discovered that if i( the hucast) finds a halbert with dark and hit percent and he(the humar) finds a resta he can use, we can beat the stage hands down!

Oh, is challange mode when they make you do all the quests on level 1?<br>

That's only on the first stage. On the second stage you start at level 5 and so on. You start from a fixed level.

yup, and if you complete it with the least ammount of levels, you'll usually have a good time, pretty much the luck has to come from good finds from enemies, not boxes.

oh challenge mode relies alot on luck. mostly on ability to dodge hits and teamwork, but if u find that weapon with the rite percents (the record percent to dark for me and neo was 100 to dark!). but ya, u'll find it takes a couple months to finish with only 2 ppl. if ur gonna do it with 2 ppl offline, don't expect ny god shields or s-rank weapons nytime soon

Oh, I've just found out that it <i>does</i> save your times offline!
