The colors, the candy, the person in a BUNNY SUIT!! Now THAT'S HOT! :p
Yep, Easter's great. If you can't find those easter eggs, then wait a week so that you can smell the odor of victory, rotting away in your back yard...or wherever. :p

Speaking of Easter... what has bunny rabbits and chocolate eggs got to do with the ressurection of JC (Jesus Christ)?

[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1111948399[/TIME]]

I wondered that too, and i finally firgured it out
Jesus and The Easter Bunny (back then known as pauly) were in the Jerusalem Jokers, a kind of mafia if you will. They used chocollate explosives to do their hits, the bombs were shaped like bunnies!!!

I know that in various cultures of Europe and the Middle East, the egg itself symbolises birth and rebirth -- a representation of the infinite cycle of life and death, if you will.
But rabbits? C'mon...

[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1111949195[/TIME]]

Found some interesting stuff while I was browsing the net.
The origins of Easter, derived by an English scholar from the 8th century called St. Bede (Which is also the guy that my home area in Bristol is name after, Bedminster), claimed that Easter originated from Scandinavian and Teutonic beliefs. These two ancient cultures worshipped a goddess that signifys spring and fertility, Ostra (Scandinavian) or Eastre (Teutonic) on the day of the vernal equinox.
Cool.
EDIT: Was I incorrect with the information I've found in regards to the origin of Easter?

[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1111957234[/TIME]]

Happy Easter, everyone!
Where does the Easter Bunny get his eggs, though? I think he gets them by *BEEP* a chicken.

[Edit by Benoit on [TIME]1111956487[/TIME]]
