I read that Microsoft was also targetted in the infringement suit, but settled out of court. Now, part of the money Sony has been ordered to pay out will end up going into Microsofts pockets. Well, I think the decision makers at Sony are a bunch of greedy assholes (see: 2D games not accepted)... but I dont' really like Microsoft and absolutely HATE the Xbox.... so I can't be happy with them making money off of Son'y ignorance.<p>.... now if it were Nintendo or Sega making money from it, I'd be fine with it.

Sigh... It was really dumb of them to infringe on the patent, but to try to make them stop selling PS2's and games?<p>That's a little overboard. It's too bad the PS2 only supports controllers with the rumble feature, or they could just sell the PS2 with a different controller.
