Hmm, I dunno. You're going to the Caverns right? Not the blacksmith district, but the caverns north of there?<p>I even consulted a walkthrough and that's all it said: <br> <blockquote>The second form of change is to shift weapon types within a tier, which means changing the weapon name, but improving the item in less dramatic ways. I've done it at all of the smiths, and none of them would change it, not even the one in the caves. That's why I'm wondering if there's a level requirement to change within the tier.<p>Now that I'm thinking about it, would the order in selecting the items effect anything? I'm thinking this since what you've said for Soul Breaker is out of the usual order that the items are displayed.

I don't thnk there should be a level requirement... except for the Lightening Fencer... that is the only tier 4 weapon that reqires you be at level 50 instead of 40. <p>So far I haven't had a problem with any of the forging recipes so I dunno what's going on on your end.<p>I'll keep looking into it and let you know if I find anything new out though.

That would be why. Lightning Fencer is the one I have to change to from my current weapon and I'm not level 50 yet.<br>Thanks for the help.

No problem, I usually do that when I try to help people too so it doesn't bother me all that much. Not to mention some good came out of not having all of the information I needed, specificly getting the weapon strong enough to deal more than 3 damage a hit to the most enemies before reaching Behemoth. Having most of your damage negated because of resistances is annoying. >_<<p>By the way, you wouldn't happen to have a list of how to make some of the weapons and armor for each character or have a link to where I could find that information would you?
