Has anyone else gotten the new Thief game? It's damn good! Also, it was an excuse to get a new video card :D
I got the first game back when it was brand new and didn't get that far before losing interest. When the second one came out, I enjoyed it much more (even though it got kind of "weird" towards the end). It's about time there was a new Thief game!! And sor far, it rules. Hooray!!

It's awesome!! Unfortunately I had to buy a new video card to play it. I had an ATI Radeon 7200... kinda old, so I bought a 9800 Pro. Mcuh better!

How come? There are soe great games out for PC: Diablo II and Call of Duty come to mind. Also, a really cool RPG that never got a lot of attention calle "Septerra Core".

I don't like Thief, I've seen it at a friend's house, or a demo, or trialer or whatever...

Unfortunatly I've haven't had the chance to try it, and I can't stand demos. But the first two were awesome, being alone hidden in the shadows, waiting for the patrol to be off guard to take them behind and knocking him out. It takes a lot of patience, and concentration, one of the few games where you play with the ears.
BTW I prefer the first one compared to the second, maybe because I didn't liked the steam robots.

I couldn't get into the new one. It stinks too much of "SplinterCell:medieval edition". Now, I'm not saying the splinter cells are bad, but the first thieves had a different feel to them and were less "secret agent/conspiracy"-like. This one took a fairly fun game and made it just another variance/clone of the status quo----- a VERY common pc problem.

I actually had to stop playing for a while. It keeps shutting down on me. I'm waiting for a patch to be released. That's what we get with all these lazy prgrammers.
