City of Heroes

Has anybody ever played this game, or heard of it. The game has interested me quite a bit. Just wondering if anybody has any feedback.<p>I've been interested by the character creation a lot.<p>-Creation of characters has millions of variations. (Variations being one character having three things different from another)<br>-Pick your characters origin<br>-Pick your characters ability and skill<br>-Pick your characters array of attacks, that correspond with your chosen skill ~0 <p>They game is also an MMORPG, just so ya know <p>The game is only PC compatible, I'm pretty sure. The only problem is that PC games always ask the latest PC technology instead of being coded well. The bastards.

That is to get people to buy new computers, I also feel that is wrong, but we don't have the power.

Yeah i've seen it as well as a rolling demo looks and sounds pretty dam cool!

Whaaaaah !@#$ <p>It appears that the game has no single player and is multiplayer only, and requires a $15 monthly fee! Thats more than PSO!!!! Ugh, I can't afford that. I was looking forward to getting this game. ~_~

the $15 isn't just for that one game. You can use it for other games made by the same company. Like Lineage 2, lineage 1 more.

Unfortunately, $15 is pretty much a standard fee for playing such games online.

I do know that. The only reason I got PSO online is because I was only going to be able to use it for 3 months. (Switching to High Speed internet when we move) I figured $22 (Canadian) was good for some quality online play. Unfortunately I found that the hacking and duping comunity was large (everyone running around with Double Cannon, Heavens Punisher, Psyco Wand, etc.) and that chatting was difficult without a keyboard. But for me to pay $15 a month (considering that is even canadian dollars) would be crazy and drain my "funds". Though I do plan to do a lot of working in July.<p>I had checked out the Lineage series, I unfortunately found out about that fee also. But Lineage was just the same old fantasy "sword and shield" game. City of Heroes is truly a unique game.
