You’ll have to home in onto the walls using the homing attack. Doing so, Sonic will stick to the walls.

Triangle Jump.
Before playing Sonic Heroes, everyone should read the manual to know what you can do.

I thought you’d be able to play as Metal Sonic.. BUT NOOOO. ><

Playing as Metal Sonic would be kind of stupid, since he's the main bad guy.

Unfortunately, no. Sonic Team needs to get him more involved, though.

He is involved in the entire game of Sonic Heroes as the main bad guy, and had a good role in Sonic CD. What more do you ask?

Sorry, but him as a SA2 playable character wasn’t enough, we need a STORYLINE

You're thinking of Shadow, who in no way is Metal Sonic. Did you even watch the last cutscene and understand the game? It's very clear that they're two different characters.

Have you ever played Sonic Adventure 1? In the Final Egg transport, there were 2 capsules, one holding Metal Sonic, the other holding a, earlier version of a metal sonic, possibly a prototype, or even Silver Sonic! Damn SEGA for being so mysterious..

Obviously it's Silver Sonic, from Sonic 2 on Mega Drive, and even in Sonic 2 on Master System/Game Gear.

Yeah, but they also remade it for the GC. Its Sonic Adventure Director’s Cut.

Director's Cut is horrible. The Dreamcast version was perfect, and what did they do? Insert slow-downs, made the graphics a little bit prettier, which you can't see, inserted GBA Chao connectivity, the possibility to play as Metal Sonic (collect all the emblems), and some extra missions. A poor remake, honestly.

SA2 was remade as well, into SA2: Battle.

Apart from a better Versus mode and GBA Chao connectivity, it's exactly the same game.
