anyone any good on this game? i have found parallels 1-5 and the alternate ending to parallel 2, but i cannnot find any more parallels. i'm sure there are some because a) the plot is still going around in a circle with no end in sight and b) there is a background tune in the sound test that is not used once in the game. it sounds like the carbon freeze theme and is next to it o the menu, but it is not.

From my experience, I don't think that there are no more than 6 endings on the western version of Dark Saviour. There are mutiple routes, yeah, but 1,3,4 and 5 all end the same way -- no matter what route you choose in the parallels you're playing on.
If you didn't know this already, there's a sub-game you can play on at that transport ship you start off from. After you been on the bridge rescuing the Captain or not, just go to the ship's lounge and you should see some sort of game machine there.

[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1090843487[/TIME]]

The one where Kay's sister kills the main character Garian because he didn't bother to save Kay from the Prison. Sorry to bring your hopes up about a possible sixth parallel.
I'm not so sure about how many endings Jap Dark Saviour have, but from what I've seen of the Japanese version from a Sega Saturn magazine 6 years ago, the Japanese version looks more different than the western version, but this was only a preview mind you.

I have not played this game, is it any good, and what kinda store could I buy it at? It's an okay game, but I personally think that there are better RPGs for the Sega Saturn console like Grandia, StHA, or SFIII for example.
[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1090883265[/TIME]]

dark savior is a great game. the background tunes rock, it has reasonably good graphics and funny characters, and it has parallel scenarios and a wonky perspective (that perspetive IS unique to dark savior right peaguy?).
the only problem its very, very short. and goes roun in a circle.

If you remember Landstalker for the old Genesis, then you have the basic gameplay for Dark Saviour. (I think it was the same programmers or Director, or something) In that theme, the game is HARD!!!! (maybe annoyingly time consuming would be better). I played it for one ending, a friend of mine got another 2, but I've never had the time to go back for the rest. (I still have 15+ rpgs for my old Saturn that I haven't even started yet) Oh, and the only real difference in the Japanese to English is how "mature audience" the overall storylines are. (how gloomy and violent some of the scenes are) Kinda like watching Full Metal Jacket, then seeing the exact same plot in an episode of G.I.Joe. The story is the same, but the impact is "a little" harsher. :D
