Because they are the ones who decide whether a game console tanks or not with their money.

You can't fault the consumer for not buying something that they are either unaware of or uninterested in. It's Sega's fault that they were unaware of it, and Sega's fault that they were uninterested. Plus, the price tag didn't help.

The Sega Saturn had the better games, in my opinion.

It had some good ones, and it had some simply awful ones, as far as I'm concerned. Besides, I think you'd find that a lot of people disagree with you.

Quality over quantity.

The thing is, it wasn't like the Saturn sports games were very much better than the Sony sports games, if they were at all. Marginally better, I think, would be appropriate. Furthermore, it's primarily the developers that control quality, so that's no indication of support on the console for that particular genre. If I'm afraid that a console is going to stop having sports games, and I like sports games, than I'm likely going to go to the other console no matter if the games on the other are better.

While the PSX had a good bunch of good ones, and a lot of decent to crappy games.
Besides, I think you'd find that a lot of people disagree with you.

Most of those people have never played the Sega Saturn's library, as they don't know it. They just heard from friends how bad it is.

is it importable? does it work on a UK PS2? if not, its still going to be possible to get hold of a jap PS2, which will work with a step down transformer. its NiGHTs. Its worth it.

I don't think it's worth it when it's just a port. Who knows what the extra levels will look like. Sonic Team isn't like it was back in the day.

Just use the Swap Magic 3 discs.

Ah but scenario 2 and scenario 3 have been translated and you just need to apply the patch to a ISO of the disk if I recall.

2 and 3 were fan translated.

you forgot one of my favourite RPGs of all time - Dark Savior!
the only flaw with it in my opinion is the fact that it isn't long enough. but then, i still haven't found parallel 6...

Just use the Swap Magic 3 discs.

if converters work, i guess that's OK.

DS was more meh than anything. I got bored with it very easily. the 1on1 combat was rather lame.
