sega's site actually lists it as an "Action RPG". In my opinion this should make it case closed on psu.

Yeah, I figured so.

Persistent must just be another way of saying "fighting monsters with thousands". :P

Anyways back to the topic currently trying to reach level 30 on RF Online to see if it really changes the game.

If you're the one group of people.. At lv 30 you get your personal mecha if I recall XD

Participate in the mine battles! They are grand!

Only level 18/19.

Nah I'm not a specialist so I don't get a robot/MAU.

Still too low to participate in those battles so I just sit around and mine whenever that happens.

You can also see alot of PSO inspired monsters.. Since Sega was behind the publishing and funding of the game..

Well PS IV monsters.. I used to have a link to pictures of the enemies..

Like this FANBITE/Grass Assassin inspired..

http://images.mmosite.com/rf/images/gui ... 20/1_8.gif

You'll also see SHADOW-SABER inspired, Bladerights/Hakenlefts, Scorpius...

It is like PS IV monsters meet PSO. Especially the humanoid lv 40-50+ monsters

Just look at most of the RF Online monsters.. You'll see alot of PS related monsters.

Especially the scorpius like ones and Carrions from PS IV.

I have lost ADSL 3.5 years ago, which left me with just a crappy dial up connection, limiting myself to single player games. Meanwhile, MMORPGs have developed their quality and spread their fan base, and I kinda lost the trend.

Even though I could not play PSO or PSU (for personal reasons), I would try some if I get the chance.

I'm a fairly active WOW player. I have two characters on Scarshield Legion, a Troll Mage and a Belfadin. I'm currently levelling up an Undead Rogue as well.
