PSG2 Item Creation

I had very different results than the guide when bug squashing before the climate control tower. Figured I would post them here.
I didn't do full tests on harder enemies but all the way up to lightning whip the results were the same but if anyone has different results please post.

*Notes*
I did the Huey/keinz and rudger/keinz. SandyLandale did all additional tests so be sure to thank her =]

Make sure you save before trying to get the item. SandyLandale said it took 80 battles to get ice slicer where I got 77. Its very easy to lose track of how many battles you fought and the 3 character item creation can get random results from other creations. Plus if there is any addition factors involved( battle rank, enemies fought, difficulty of enemies ) which would be almost impossible to test especially if there is only a 3 battle difference after 80 battles.

Thanks so much for this! Do you think it would be a good idea to test Anne/Huey item creation? I could try doing that for you if you'd like. Do you have to win the battles for them to count toward creation, or no?

Yeah I was planning on testing everything but I wasn't expecting it to take 150+ battles for each test . You're free to do any testing you want I was posting this as a public kinda thing so any one doing addition tests and posts would be cool. I'm def taking a break from testing these so I'm not sure if/when I'll do any more tests. I'm not 100% sure if you have to win the battle....it said so in the original guide so I just assumed you had to. I thought it was interesting that anne/silka could make cakes and items and they didn't even have a item creation group. Looking forward to playing the new version of psg1 btw! Ik you put a lot of work into it, much appreciated!

Doing some tests now, and it looks like the whole reason that your Anne/Silka group was giving you so much trouble was because you weren't using a "valid" combination, guru. You were getting results for the groups of Item3, and Meds, and Cake. You also didn't test the Rudger/Huey/Keinz group, but I'm working on that, as well as the data you have yet to get.

Ahh I see your finished testing! You are quick lol. Thanks this should help people a lot I think. I noticed in another post you said it took you 80 to get ice slicer I'm gonna put that in my notes on original post. I am almost positive my weapon counts should be accurate... I tested twice in a row going all the way through(was trying to get 2 last weapons on list) and they seemed to follow a pattern for me(5 battles = new item/10 battles new item/etc.) of course I'm definitely not perfect there could be plenty of mistakes but its worth noting that there could be other factors involved that have a small role in these numbers such as battle rank, number of enemies, difficulty of enemies that would be almost impossible to test especially if the results were only a 3 battle difference at 80. SO just a suggestion, save before you go to acquire the item!

Also sandy would you like me to edit my first post to include your results so they are all together?? Crediting you of course!

Yes please! I recommend removing your Anne/Silka group though; it's not a "valid" combination according to the game.
