Why do people do this?

I use any material I pick up. Except Evade of course, as I find dexterity pointless and gay. Is there anyway of telling how many more materials you can use?

Not really, the thing I go for most is being strong enough to kill a monster before it can hit you. Besides, the amount of damage an enemy can do to me helps me decide if I'm strong enough to train somewhere.<p>

i've got lots of materials. 6 luck, over 50 evade, i think about 30 power. thats all i got though, my force was usin materials, jus maxed out today. he used nothing but mind and def
