Hunters are the easiest to start out with, but as the game progresses, Forces start to become easier because they have powerful Techniques giving them a lot of range and possibility to hit a lot of enemies. Low DFP, yes, but just use Deband and you're ready to go. Distance also really helps.
While Hunters get a harder time further in the game because of their lack of MST, which makes their Resta weak, or just no MST and no Resta (Androids) which gets problematic on the later levels.
If I was a Force in Ultimate Mine, I would just own the place, since almost every enemy there is vulnerable to fire, doing a lot of damage.
Also keep in mind Mizehrith that a FOmar is the most challenging of the Forces to play. Compared to other Forces, he doesn't have a ton of MST and has a lot of ATP, making the class capable of casting Techniques and doing melee. Add to that the low HP and MST, and it can sometimes be hard to go melee, which is what should make up for lower MST. But if you can learn to put all this to good use, you have one of the most powerful classes.

No Resta for Andriods, you say? Maybe there isn't any Resta but...I have a theory. Any Android will tell you that there are 4 spaces for traps on the customization menu, yet you only have 3 traps. So what is that 4th space for? Good question...
On your travels, you may have encountered some Heal traps (the Caves is the only place I can recall finding them) that, when exploding, heal you. When you attain a high level, I think that you may, somehow, get another trap, perhaps a heal trap. There has to be a reason for 4 trap spaces! They wouldn't make an extra space for a technique and then not fill it in!
Does anyone have answers?

Mode.... save for the Hildelts, of course. Then there's Shifta + Zalure. Fun stuff. :D
Why the put it there in normal games I do not understand.

In the case of online play, such an implementation would prove to be an inconvenience to the other players.

Not to mention when you play multiplayer. No, I can understand such a feature.

But they could have made it that such a feature would be available only on offline single-player. I would have liked that feature, because then I would be able to eat dinner while leaving the game on. Now I have to finish the area or whatever I was doing first.

I just use a Telepipe to escape. However, if I'm fighting a boss....well, too bad. :(

No, Benoit; a Force is powerful only until the end of the Ultimate Mine. With Vol Opt ver. 2 low stats become unbearable. I tried twice to beat it, as I was before 80, and I had to learn how to avoid his facial attack, which no force can survive.
Still now at level 135 more or less, I cannot face the Ruins. I have more than 1000 of MIND and techs at least lv 26 (but megid and Grants)...but Arlans are too fast! I need 4/5 techs attacks to kill them, but they only need one hit to slay me down. I was forced to create a new mag with DEX and ATP, cause mind become useless at this level. That's true expecially for the FOmarl (me), who has no boost on attack techniques and S&D range doesn't mean anything in single player.
To face the Ruins I need weapons, which were an optional until Vol Opt ve 2....

I would have liked that feature, because then I would be able to eat dinner while leaving the game on.

I don't know how many times I've neared completing a stage in Challenge Mode only to have it ruined by having to eat. And my family won't show any mercy...they'll eat all the good food until I'm left with only salad! Agh! !@#$

I guess you're right about Vol Opt ver.2, SheWren.
But Arlans too fast in Ruins? Come on, they are not that fast. They are about the same speed as Very Hard's Dimenians. And they are very vulnerable to Foie. ;)

Trust me: Ruins with a Force are much harder than with Hunters. Spellcasting requires time...and no combo exists. Once surrounded, you're done.
