Wow, nice idea. That will also add more of a skill-needed ability as well.

Well maybe doing something else than three hit combos would be nice too, such as running while shooting or maybe diving to evade, ducking and kicking targets away before they get to close.
And... different animations!

Have you ever played Lord of the Rings: Return of the King? You get all kinds of freedom with fighting. There is even a parry!

Oh yeah, I have two towers. I like it how you can make those infinite combos! Wouldn't it be cool to have that in PSO? Just keeping going and keeping going hahaha!! #)

That Body-Head-Legs could easily be there in place of the Normal-Hard-Special attack. Well, the Special would still be needed... Scratch the Legs part then. :)
Making gun-users run around while shooting would make them too powerful... Remember also that when firing a gun, it also pushes you back, so you actually have to stand still...

You don't have to scratch the legs benoit. See, with what I'd like would be button combos. Like Up+A. Then it would be diffucult.

That would make it too close to a beat-'em-up.

But thats the point. Where you combine the two together will really show the skill in a battle. Anyone can do a Light, Hard, Hard combo. Having different options will but you in more of a realistic fight.

And that's exactly what RPGs are NOT into. The battle system should be accessible to everyone to be able to enjoy the progression of the story.

Oh you can still do A-A-A. But my friend already had trouble with shooting a gun 3 times with PSO, they always tap the button, but they should ease it up and make the combo :p
Making more slashes and firemodes available would only be for the better IMO.

The kick-back from a gun can knock you off your feat...it's more realistic to do it the way that it is.
I completely agree with the ATA thing...especially since some Rangers never get their ATP up high due to class stat growth. A target system would be good...and you would score extra damage for head shots (or weak point shots).

And that's exactly what RPGs are NOT into. It's to improve the realism of gameplay. It should have no affect to the story. If you were in a battle would you just use the same combo over and over? I know I wouldn't.

It doesn't matter if it affects the story or not. RPGs are not about realism in combat. It always has a system accessible to everyone.
