Couldn't you say that the exclusive feature was online play for PSO? It is the only online GC game afterall.

No, Neo. An exclusive feature is a feature that no other version of the game has. In the case of PSO BB -> a new area with a new NPC and story

The Main market are the consumers. Be it console or PC.

In fact, I can even go so far as stating that this is wrong, since the consumers are the only market the game is targeted to. :p So it can't be the main one, because else there would have to be more markets. ;)

Well, then, maybe thats why it has the Blue Burst in the name. We did not purchase PSOBB for GC, so we don't get those extras. But the new area was oviously not that important enough to sell a PSOBB for GC.

The name doesn't matter. Officially it's a port of PSO: Episode I & II. The name was changed to fool everyone into thinking that the game is new.

But it was new. Its a new area, a new story, new NPC. Its Blue Burst, new for the PC. I understand what your saying, but its not betrayal, Sega felt as if they wanted to put more into the game before they put it out for PC.

That doesn't make the game new. It's still, in essence, the same game.

Believe whatever you want, but that "shit" is the truth.

If it was true it wouldn't be a closed PC market consisting of Japan and Korea.

Betrayal would have been if they sold ep. 1&2 in europe, but not ep. 3. You have access to BB, and you have a computer, so you can still play it.

No the target consumer can be whatever platform any developer wants it to be. Thats why its called target consumer.

Yes, HuBBs, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the fact that Sonic Team's primary PSO users are on the consoles like they intended.

Betrayal would have been if they sold ep. 1&2 in europe, but not ep. 3.

Perhaps that too, but that's not the issue. The PSO gamers on the console are the primary market for this game. Releasing an important exclusive feature in another market is betrayal; we don't get what we have the right to get, while we are the important segment.

You have access to BB,

No, I don't. The game is entirely in Japanese(and Korean?) and only sold in Japan (and Korea?). It's not sold in Europe.

and you have a computer, so you can still play it.

No, I can't. You try playing a recent game on a PC from 5 years back. It isn't going to work. PCs aren't all the same.
